This course covers the various aspects of financing a real estate purchase. It begins by discussing how to work with lenders, conventional/non-conventional financing, PMI Private Mortgage Insurance, aspects that affect interest rates, and the different types of loans.The course then goes into government regulation such as Federal Lending Laws, the Credit Acts, and flood insurance. The material continues with the various finance documents, security devices, appraisal of property, and real estate investments. There is a Washington State section discussing foreclosure laws, 1985 Real Estate Contract Act, special types of Washington loan laws, State tax laws, and Washington State Securities laws.
